What is the MISTA ISBN and what does it cover?

The MISTA conference series has been allocated an ISBN for the 2003 proceedings ONLY, as this was the only proceedings to be produced as a printed volume. All the other proceedings (including 2003) were produced in electronic form (the entire MISTA conference series has been allocated an ISSN number (ISSN 2305-249X)).

The ISBN number for the 2003 proceedings is ISBN-10: 0954582101 or ISBN-13: 978-0954582104.

To quote from the Nielsenbook web site:

An ISBN is an International Standard Book Number. Up until the end of 2006 it was a 10 digit number, but from 1 January 2007 all ISBN numbers are now 13 digits long. .

An ISBN is a product number, used by publishers, booksellers and libraries for ordering, listing and stock control purposes. It enables them to identify a particular Publisher and allows the Publisher to identify a specific edition of a specific title in a specific format within their output. n.
