RCPSP with Resource Transfers and Money Management. In proceedings of the 6th Multidisciplinary International Conference on Scheduling : Theory and Applications (MISTA 2013), 27 - 30 Aug 2013, Ghent, Belgium, pages 91-110, 2013.
Paper
This paper deals with Resource Constrained Project Scheduling (RCPSP) problems, which involve resource transfers and a Money resource. We use Flow models in order to formalize those extended RCPSP, derive structural results, as well as generic greedy and local search algorithms, based upon the use of an Insertion operator. We perform numerical tests, and end while studying the impact of ad hoc Invest/Borrow strategies on the makespan value.
